D. Blame Game
On page 41 of Module One I wrote, "Blaming someone else for your problems is a surefire way to stay in your problem". What do you think about that statement?
Do you think blame is worth having? If you continue to blame someone else, and mind you, someone else or a situation is probably a contributor to your eating disorder, do you think blaming them forever is going to help you? It is very difficult to let go of the situation that has caused you great pain but you don't have to hold onto the feelings that has resulted from the situation or person. You can let go of the FEELING you have from a circumstance.
Try saying this passage: "The past has no power over me. I live for myself and only myself. My path is the one I choose and the experiences and feelings are also ones I choose. These are my thoughts and I can always change my thoughts. I can choose what I want to experience."
Now do you want to experience joy? Then do that. What brings you joy? Do that and keep doing that. Why not follow a path of joy instead of hurt. You can change your thoughts, let go of feelings associated with past negative situations and stop living in a blame game.
